Frank DiMino fronts this group with his seasoned style of rock vocal delivery. DiMino has a history of experience that stretches before and beyond his years with the epic band, Angel. At the age of nine he began singing lessons with a vocal instructor from the "New England Conservatory of Music", performed on a weekly radio show by the age of twelve and at the age of fifteen performed in a Boston based rock band on "Duke Ellington's Television Special" with the legendary King Curtis. Frank attended "Berklee College of Music" and studied Composition and Arranging. During his time with Angel, the band appeared and performed in the movie "Foxes" starring Jodie Foster. They also recorded two songs for the sound track that were produced by Giorgio Moroder. Frank continued to work with Giorgio Moroder (Donna Summers, Sparks) and Keith Forsey (Billy Idol) to record "Seduce Me Tonight" with Cycle 5 for the movie "Flashdance". The soundtrack sold platinum and was nominated for a Grammy. Together they also worked on the soundtrack for the classic science fiction silent film "Metropolis" by Fritz Lang. Frank has recorded on many soundtracks for ABC, CBS and NBC television networks "Made for Television Movies" such as "In the Custody of Strangers" and "Summer Lovers". DiMino continues to lend his talents to other artists performing and recording.
Character is everything in a vocalist and Frank goes above and beyond your expectations. He will show the best of the best how it's done in the real world of classic rock. |
